Facilities

Easily accessed from State Highway 57, 10km north of the centre of Levin, our new rural location is like arriving to a small slice of paradise. Our barn-style homestead is nestled in six acres of grassland with a tree-lined drive, ponds and established gardens. It houses Tsunami Sound Studios as well as The Tsunami Lounge concert venue, has a large gravel carpark and a small self-contained accommodation space; which is free for clients and performing artists.
The accommodation, with its own access from the veranda offers 2 bedrooms with five single beds, an adjoining lounge room, a kitchenette (fridge, sink, microwave), dining table, TV with Freeview and a large sunny bathroom. A short stroll along the concrete verandah brings you to the front door access of the Tsunami venue.
Shared lunches in our large dining area is often a great way to enjoy the space, or there are plenty of options to sit, chill, stroll, soak up nature and get inspired.
Currently Wi-Fi is not available on site, with cell phone coverage a little patchy; unless you are on the Spark network. Cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are approximately 10km away, either to Levin’s town centre or Shannon a little further north.
Should you need to travel some distance to get here, or have a project that may take more than a day, consider staying over with us and make it a road trip/recording holiday. We look forward to being part of creating some great memories.
