Our intimate concert venue – ‘The Tsunami Lounge’, in our barn-style complex, comfortably seats 55, offering a variety of seating, from low comfy chairs, couches or table and chair groupings. With rich blue walls, back-draped and back lit stage, along with coloured PAR can-lighting from the ceiling, offers a wonderful night time atmosphere with great sound. Intermission offers a large tea and coffee bar, supper in our spacious adjoining lounge, as well as access to our spacious covered verandah on warm nights.
A full sound system is installed with quality Tannoy Gold 15″ front of house monitors. Mic lines, DI’s and mic stands are all available; being run from a crest live mixing console and two UREI 5547 Professional Parametric Equalisers.
David, our professional recording engineer, runs the sound system for music concerts. We have the ability to record or video your live concert, and are happy to discuss these options with you.
Touring bands and guest artists wishing to perform at the venue are paid the bulk of the agreed cash ticket price, s small portion retained to support the running costs of the venue; which usually includes a fully catered supper/afternoon tea in our adjoining lounge. We are happy to discuss your requirements.
Evening events are normally scheduled once a month on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We have accommodated some Sunday matinee concerts.
